Photos in health spaces: a quick privacy checklist
We're seeing more photos in our health spaces, which is lovely: a garden someone finally got back to after surgery, a first walk after a long hospital stay. Here's the short checklist we share with members before they post:
- Crop out names and dates of birth on wristbands, letters and prescription labels.
- Check the background for screens, whiteboards or other patients.
- Ask before posting anyone else, including family members you care for.
- Phones can store your location inside the photo, so switch that off if you can.
Anything you'd add? I'd like to pin a version of this in Caregivers Connect.
