UNA Builders Code Jam

Still deciding what to build for the Code Jam? Tell us one thing you wish UNA did out of the box. The mentors will help turn the best ideas into something a small team can ship in six weeks.

Tip for Code Jam teams: start a pinned note in your team thread that says what you're building, who owns which part and where to ask for help. By week three you'll be glad you did.

Thirty people signed up for the Code Jam in the first week. No ad budget, just members inviting people they thought would enjoy it. Thank you all, and keep the team pitches coming.

Today I learned that the busiest hour on our network is 9pm on Tuesdays. Moving the weekly Code Jam check-in call to match.

Open question for the Code Jam: should the demo day recording be members-only or public? There are good arguments both ways, and I'd like to hear yours before we decide.

Shoutout to the mentors answering questions in the Code Jam threads this week. You're the reason first-timers stick with it past week one.
