Our community roadmap for next quarter
Better member search, a refreshed app, event reminders and a mentorship programme: here's what's coming.
Here's what we're working on over the next three months. It's shaped almost entirely by what you've asked for in Help & Support, in surveys and in the comments under every update.
- Better member search. Filters by city, interests and role, so you can find a co-organiser nearby or a speaker for your next event.
- A refreshed mobile app. Faster loading, cleaner navigation and fixes for the bugs beta testers reported.
- Event reminders. A reminder the day before and an hour before, because no-shows hurt small meetups most.
- A mentorship programme. Experienced members matched with newcomers for a few short conversations during their first month.
Some things didn't make the cut this quarter, including a full redesign of the notification settings. It's on the list, just not yet.

First update: mentorship goes first. We're opening sign-ups for mentors before the end of the month, and newcomers will be able to opt in from their profile.

And to answer the most common question so far: yes, the refreshed app will follow your phone's dark mode setting.

Quick update: event reminders are working on the test site. Fingers crossed this finally does something about our no-show numbers.

Member search is next. Several of you asked to filter by interests as well as city, so that's in, and it should make finding speakers a lot easier too.
